Broccoli Rice Cheesy Bake

1: Preheat oven to 400°F.

2: In a large heated skillet, melt the butter and olive oil together.

3: Add the onion and garlic, cooking for 5 minutes or until softened.

4: Add the flour and cook for a couple more minutes.

5: Add the milk and whisk to combine everything.

6: Increase the heat slightly and continue stirring until thick and bubbly.

7: Add all the seasonings, cream cheese, and 2 cups of cheddar; stir until melted.

8: In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, rice, and sauce.

9: Lightly grease a 13x9” casserole dish.

10: Add the mixture into the dish, top with remaining cheddar, and bake for 40 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
