This Shaved Teriyaki Steak Calzone makes a perfect midweek meal. It's simple to assemble with steak cooked in Soyaki Sauce, sautéed peppers, onions, garlic, and fresh provolone cheese, all sealed inside golden pizza dough.
Cook up the steak and toss with Soyaki Sauce.
Sauté peppers, onions, and chopped garlic and season with salt and pepper.
Allow the steak mixture to cool in the fridge if made in advance.
Let a 1 lb ball of pizza dough come to room temperature.
Shingle provolone slices along half of the bottom of the dough.
Sprinkle a couple of handfuls of baby spinach leaves on top.
Combine the beef with the peppers and onions and lay that on top.
Fold over the pizza dough, closing it up, and crimp the edges to secure.
Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake in a 400°F oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden.
Let sit for a few minutes before cutting into it.
