A gorgeous puff pastry wreath filled with cranberry sauce, shredded chicken, and creamy goat cheese. Baked until golden, this dish makes a beautiful appetizer or addition to any holiday cheese board.
Preheat oven to 425F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll the pastry out slightly on a floured surface and put a large dinner plate down on it. Trace a circle around and remove the excess dough.
Move the pastry round to the prepared baking sheet.
Get a small bowl and press down lightly in the center of the circle. Using a sharp knife, cut 4 cuts into the center circle.
Spread the cranberry sauce around the perimeter of the wreath. Dot the goat cheese on top of that.
Add the chicken and then season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with the fresh herb.
Fold each triangle over the filling and press firmly with your fingers to secure along the outer side until the wreath is formed.
Brush with the egg wash and then bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
