Cranberry relish is a sweet and tangy side dish that can be prepared up to a week in advance. Made with fresh cranberries, sugar, orange juice, and dried cherries, this relish is perfect for Thanksgiving and can also be used in baking.
Add the cranberries, sugar, water, orange juice, zests and fresh juices to a saucepan over low heat.
Cook for about 5 minutes until the cranberries begin to pop open and split their skins.
Add the chopped apple and dried cherries and cook for another 15 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool completely.
Once cooled, put it in a container and store in the fridge until ready to use.
