Rice Krispie Scotcheroos are chewy, crispy rice bars made with peanut butter, chocolate, and butterscotch, all without baking. They're a favorite childhood treat and a quick, easy recipe using pantry staples.
In a large saucepan, combine sugar and corn syrup. Heat to dissolve sugar and bring to a boil.
Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter.
Add Rice Krispies and mix until well blended.
Press the mixture into a buttered 9X13 inch pan.
Melt together the chocolate chips and butterscotch chips in a microwave-safe bowl or in a saucepan on the stove.
Spread the combined chocolate and butterscotch mixture over the top of the Rice Krispies mixture.
 Cool and cut into bars.
